When it comes to the maintenance of Sax, we must mention the maintenance technicians of Sax. The level of maintenance technicians indirectly affects the maintenance efficiency of Sax. For the series, a good saxophone maintenance technician may restore the original appearance of the saxophone without affecting the appearance and timbre of the severely damaged instrument; At the same time, Saxophone maintenance technicians are also experts in playing musical instruments; And I can play more than one instrument.
Every beginner should have a good habit of cooking, that is, to maintain musical instruments and keep them in the best sensitive form. This is not only to prolong the service life of saxophone, but also to save considerable costs.
1 Maintenance of key pad: after playing, the key pad will be wet, and you can use absorbent paper to clip it between the key pad and the sound hole. If the key pad has moisture, it will soften the key pad and shorten its service life.
2. Removal of water in the tube: thread the strip cloth through the bell mouth of Sax, draw it out from the junction of neck tube, and then go back and forth several times.
3 Wipe the fingerprints and sweat stains on the mouth of the tube body with a clean cloth. Wipe the parts between the key posts and under the connecting rod with a sanitary cotton stick.
Because the overtone hole of Saxophone is very small and easy to block, it should be cleaned regularly.
5 After the performance, remove the whistle piece and put it into the whistle clip; Wipe the water in the flute head and neck tube with a clean cloth.
6 If you play every day, you must clean the flute head every day.
7 Every week, check whether the screws fixing each key link are loose, and tighten them if they are loose.
8 Inject saxophone smooth oil into each key connecting rod of saxophone every month (be careful not to inject too much oil).
9 Every year, go to the Sax Maintenance Center for an all-round maintenance.
